Inside The Mirrors by Jason R. Davis
Unfortunately there is nothing normal about Standard. There has been an evil that has been awakened, and now the residents are slowly going crazy. Men for no reason are coming home and murdering their families, and dark forms are appearing in people’s mirrors. The evil is spreading, and now it is up to ex-Chicago cop Rob Alletto to find it.
Inside The Mirrors by Jason R. Davis is like a classic horror: scary without excessive gore. This story crawls into your head, and makes you leave the light on after you’re done reading. The plot centers on Rob Alleto, a Chicago cop who believes that moving to a small town would lead to a safer environment for himself and his family. Before long, he discovers that there are things far worse than street criminals, when an evil spirit attempts to possess Rob’s neighbors through their mirrors. It kept my interest from beginning to end. ~ Trixie
Hatched by Jason R. Davis
It is the morning hours in the small town of Hammond and, as the town wakes up it finds that there is something spreading. Something that is not seen until it is too late because by then, you are already infected. At that point, they are already… Hatched.
Hatched is a good story, with a lot of really good ideas and concepts. The idea of the spiders and the “zombies” was definitely a twist on the idea, and I think I can say that of all the zombie variants I’ve encountered in fiction, these are the ones I’d less like to encounter…
“For Mr. Davis I have to say one thing – yes, I’m now afraid of spiders again! A genuine horror writer that knows just how to terrify his readers and create nightmares that will NEVER end!’ ~ Audiobook Reviewer
Caught in the Web: Invisible Spiders Book 2 by Jason R. Davis
In the morning, the invisible spiders had hatched and had spread. Now the small town of Hammond is under quarantine and the inhabitants are fighting to survive. They face something they can’t see, and no one, not even the military has answers. They just know they must escape before it’s too late. They must stop themselves from being caught in the web.
“This is the second book in the series and immediately starts where the first book left. The already tense nature of the book only increases by leaps and bounds as the pace quickens and havoc is wreaked upon this small rural town. There were multiple times that the book left me agape, as the mental imagery from the action was magnetic. “~ Zoe
